DISCOVER FAITH

Explore our rich history. The journey of Faith Healing Bible Church.

Brief History

Faith Healing Bible Church, as told by the founder.

Faith Healing Bible Church halted from a humble collection of nine members at a Home Caring Fellowship at No 34 John street, Freetown Sierra Leone. The pioneering group included the following: Pastor Francis A.M Mambu, Pastor Idrissa Bangura, Bro Foday, Mrs Ann-Marie Missalie, Pastor Isha Massaquoi, Sis Kadie Bah, Bro Momoh Koroma, Sis Adama Morrison, Bro Osho Bah

On the 26th of July, 1987, the home caring fellowship was transformed into a church  three days after the end of a week crusade held at Mountain Cut and the Government Model Secondary School. The name 'Faith Healing' was revealed to the founder who also doubles as the General Overseer. To date, the church has not stopped expanding physically and spiritually. The goal is to become a mega church before the celebration of her golden jubilee in July of 2037 if Christ tarries.

The history of the ministry is better understood within the context of her growth in the various tasks that has been carried out through the directive of the Holy Spirit and encapsulated in the expression "Evangelism (in all it forms) and and missions" and all the back-up necessary.

The following tasks have been identified by the church: Retreats, Crusades, Home Caring Fellowships, Combine Serviced, Church Planting, Infrastructures, and humanitarian projects (Health clinics, agriculture, bakery, orphanages etc).
